Rod will introduce a thought-provoking discussion of New Zealand politics
and its economy, with special emphasis on New Zealand's global
affairs.
Rod will
address the
current transformation of the N.Z economy and its high
tech, entrepreneurial international companies. He will address
how expatriate New Zealanders can contribute to New Zealand's
success. There will
be plenty of time for questions and answers
Rod Oram is
Adjunct Professor at the New Zealand Centre for Innovation and
Entrepreneurship at Unitec in Auckland, with 25 years' experience as
a journalist, change manager, line manager and corporate strategist.
He is a Contributing
Editor of Unlimited Magazine, writing features on economic, political
and corporate topics and a monthly column on innovation. Rod also
contributes a weekly column on business and economic issues to the
Sunday Star-Times.
Rod writes
for the Financial Times of London, contributes to radio and television programmes in New Zealand, and gives presentations to a wide range of
New Zealand audiences on the economy and innovation. Rod was
Editor of the Business Herald in Auckland from 1997 to 2000, and
previously worked as a journalist in Canada, London and New York.
